The home, which is part of Rockhopper Children's Services, provides care and support for up to five children, ensuring they receive excellent care and opportunities to thrive.
Inspectors praised the home for fostering a strong sense of belonging among the children, with one professional stating, “They [children] never want to leave.” The report highlighted the team’s dedication to meeting children's academic, emotional, and social needs, as well as their commitment to supporting positive transitions for older children moving on.
The manager and staff were commended for their high aspirations and child-centred approach, ensuring that everything, from decor to meal plans and activities, is designed with the children’s well-being in mind. Regional Manager Tracey Power described the team as a shining example of outstanding residential care, while Manager Danny Blood expressed pride in the children's achievements and the recognition of their work.
