ROCKHOPPER Children’s Services is celebrating the news that colleague Tayla has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

Tayla, a member of the team at Vernon House, has been named as a finalist in the Support Worker of the Year category at the upcoming Children and Young People Awards.

Tayla was nominated for the award by her colleagues who described her as an ‘exceptional support worker whose commitment to her role and her emotional intelligence have had a profound and lasting impact on the children at Vernon House.’

The Children and Young People Awards celebrate excellence in care for children and young people and pay tribute to those individuals who excel in quality care provision.

Tayla will join her fellow finalists at the awards ceremony being held on October 3rd at the ICC Birmingham.
